"Slow Drip" — A Folk-Alternative Journey of Home, Growth, and Belonging

Canadian folk-alternative artist Skye Harding will release her debut album Slow Drip on May 29, 2026. A coming-of-age project rooted in themes of home, identity, and impermanence, the record traces Harding’s search for self-understanding through poetic lyricism and earthy, introspective soundscapes.

“This record feels like a timestamp of who I am right now,” Harding shares. “It’s about learning to understand myself through sound and memory—grappling with where I came from, who I’ve been, and who I’m becoming.”

Recorded between Berklee College of Music and intimate home studios, Slow Drip blends organic folk textures with modern, alternative production—evoking the honesty of Adrianne Lenker, Joni Mitchell, and Hozier while carving out Harding’s own distinct voice. From the nostalgic shimmer of “Better” to the aching reflection of “On The Run,” each song captures the slow, beautiful process of becoming.

Slow Drip will be available on all streaming platforms and as a limited vinyl and cassette release in June 2026.
